ATK Micro-Etched Glass Pad Review: An Absolute Gem

ATK has been killing it with their mice lately, and their Micro-Etched Tempered Glass Mouse Pad is another massive win. It delivers premium, top-tier performance at a fraction of the cost of luxury brands like Pulsar or Wallhack.

Performance & Glide
While the surface feels incredibly smooth to the touch, the in-game performance leans toward the faster side. It hits a perfect sweet spot between a fast glass pad and a balanced one, making it faster and significantly quieter than the Hystar Aether. Tracking is effortless, and it handles sweaty hands brilliantly—no skin sticking, even if you play without an arm sleeve.

Build & Design
Instead of a full-silicone bottom that smells like harsh chemicals, ATK uses ultra-thin, incredibly sticky clear silicone pads in each corner. It locks onto your desk and completely eliminates the middle-flexing issues found in older Skypads. It also comes with two extra pads.

Verdict
The size is an absolute gem for wrist aimers, offering the perfect surface area without the desk-hogging footprint. If you want a fast, quiet, and odorless glass pad, this is a must-buy.

Ordered this pad recently and was so impressed. It’s not a full silicone bottom, but it does have these very sticky, clear silicone pads in each corner, so it goes nowhere on your desk, and it comes with two extra, which I will likely just put in the center somewhere. I also want to add that they’re very thin pads, so you won’t have to worry about the glass flexing in the middle like on the older Skypad, as well as the nasty chemical smell from the full silicone bottom like on the Hystar and Pulsar glass pads when new.

I expected it to be slow when initially touching the pad with my hand because it was so smooth, but I was shocked to say it’s actually on the faster side. Somewhere between a fast glass pad and balanced and as an example It was faster than the Hystar Aether pad and much quieter as well. I also have an issue with sweaty hands when gaming and haven’t had any issues with sticking, even without a sleeve.

I know I saw a few people say they wanted a bigger size, but for wrist aimers like myself, this offers, to me, a perfect size without having to spend the extra premium for a larger glass pad. All together, shocked how good this pad actually is, but ATK has been killing with their mice lately, so I decided to try their pad and am very happy I did.
